We offer Children’s services that meet during both our 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday Morning gatherings! In addition to our general Sunday Morning parking, we invite our families to park anywhere alongside the east side of the warehouse.
Once you and your family enter through the main entrance, head towards the right side of the lobby. There, you’ll find the Children’s Ministry Check-In desk! Someone from our team will be more than happy to help you check in! There, your child will receive a name tag containing any important information. You will receive a second tag with a unique Child Code matching one on your child’s name tag, which is required for re-entry to the hallway and child pick-up.
Once your family is checked in, we will give you a quick tour of our Children’s Ministry hallway! Fill out our First Time Family Form for a smooth check-in on your Sunday Morning Visit!

The aim of the Children’s Ministry at DCC is to encourage and equip the youngest of our church to be true disciples of Jesus. A useful tool to accomplish this is a structured curriculum to work through during our Sunday Morning gatherings.
At Downtown Community Church, we have prayerfully compiled both Pre-School and Elementary curricula using a handful of diverse resources, ensuring the children joining us on Sunday mornings receive a comprehensive education on the Scriptures, Foundations of Christian Theology, and Spiritual Formation in developmentally appropriate ways. The Children’s Hallway is our 6,000 sq ft Children’s Ministry Facility! Designed to recreate some of Tallahassee’s favorite attractions, this space was created to best serve the families in our community. With eight classrooms, a large group room, and kids only bathrooms, we want to not only keep your children safe, but have them excited to learn about Jesus!
Each classroom has at least two trained, background checked volunteers who are committed each Sunday to serve your child and teach them about the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our Downtown Kids team strives to not only provide engaging teachings but to facilitate a fun Sunday experience that will have your child excited to come back to church!

Security is a top priority for the Downtown Kids team. Before, during, and after each service, we have a designated volunteer who stays at the entrance of the Children’s Hallway. The only people allowed into the hallway will be children, volunteers, and parent(s)/designated person with the corresponding sticker code for the child they are picking up.

CHILD DEDICATIONS
Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church and your family. The dedication provides the parents with an opportunity to express publicly their desire to lead and spiritually grow their children in a manner worthy of the gospel. If you're ready to take this step as a family, fill out the Child Dedication Interest Form and someone from our team will reach out!
