SERVE ON SUNDAYS!
What does it mean to serve?
Serving on a Sunday isn't just an extra way to fill time in a week. It's a way to meet others, to serve as Christ served us, and to maybe even be the difference in somebody feeling like DCC is a place they belong. We believe every Sunday is somebody's Sunday- for someone to hear the gospel for the first time in a long time or for the very first time.
WHERE CAN I SERVE on a sunday?
Kids Team: Teaching the children about Jesus and serving the families of our church so well that they wake up every day wishing it were a Sunday.
Downtown Cleanup Crew: Keeping our space clean to help facilitate a good atmosphere for our people to feel comfortable in.
Usher Team: This team not only helps churchgoers find seats but also gathers together to pray over the congregation before the day begins.
Coffee Bar Team: Help people wake up on a Sunday morning by serving them a nice, hot cup of coffee.
Connections team: Help new and old visitors get connected and plugged into the life of our church.
Production Team: Create an environment for people to have a genuine worship experience in person and online through lights, cameras, slides, etc.
Worship Team: Invite people into God’s presence through musical worship, whether that be instruments or singing.

HOPE
Helping Others Prosper through Education
HOPE is a mentorship program serving youth in our city of different ages from Kindergarten through 12th grade. At HOPE we take a holistic approach focusing on educational, emotional, and spiritual mentorship. Our goal is to partner with the scholars and their families to provide each scholar with the skills and foundations to become emotionally, relationally, and spiritually healthy adults.
Our program runs Monday-Wednesday from 5:00-7:00pm. Mentor and scholar pairings begin the evening with 30 minutes dedicated to academics. Scholars can work on homework or participate in our prepared academic group activities. Academic time then leads into free time for the mentor/scholar pair to partake in an activity they both enjoy. We then come back together for a discipleship lesson and mentor/scholar pairs discuss biblical topics and application with each other in an age-appropriate setting. We end with dinner all together followed by our dismissal procedure.
Mentors commit to serving with our program paired up with their scholar for an entire school year. You must be 18 years or older to apply and upon acceptance will undergo and pass a background check. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, applications are open. Please visit dcchope.com to apply!
If you are a parent living in the 32301 area, we are currently accepting 6-12 grade students only. To enroll your middle or high school aged child, you can visit our website dcchope.com to enroll your child.

MATTHEW 25:36-40

PROJECT TALLAHASSEE
Project Tallahassee is a monthly Saturday morning service opportunity where we, the Church, have the opportunity to partner with non-profit organizations all around our city and serve those in our community. Project Tallahassee is a way for you to not only connect with your church family but also build lasting relationships with some amazing local non-profits! Our upcoming Project Tallahassee is happening on March 29th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
