Here is what is happening in the life of DCC!

To start off I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Because of your continued generosity during this unprecedented year, we have been able to continue to serve our community and be the church we are called to be. This past month alone we were able to provided bikes for Riley Elementary to encourage student literacy and make a $5,000 donation to the Joanna Francis Foundation who supports local families battling breast cancer. This isn't possible without your continued financial support. Thank you!

POLITICAL SERIES WRAPS UP SUNDAY

Please join us THIS Sunday as we finish our three part political series- The Elephant… And Donkey In The Room! We know a lot of chaos and division can come up in this season, especially within the church. This is a great opportunity amidst all the division over political issues in our country to see what the word of God has to say about politics! Please bring any friends or family who might be struggling and confused within this season, as it can feel overwhelming. Reminder that our service times are at 9am, 11am, and 8pm. BAPTISMS ARE BACK

Baptisms are back and happening THIS month (woohoo)! What is baptism? We believe Baptism is the outward expression of an inward decision an individual has made to follow Christ. Baptism is a symbol of a restored relationship with God through faith in Jesus. So If someone has made a profession of faith, then he or she should get baptized (Matthew 28:18-19). Therefore, if you have made a public decision to follow Christ, we encourage you to get baptized.

WOMEN’S WORSHIP NIGHT

On Friday, November 13th at 7pm, we are having a Women’s Worship Night! Amidst all the chaos in life, we believe it is important to take time as sisters in Christ to commune with each other and with the Lord… to praise Him, to mourn before Him, and to be lifted up in prayer. Fall snacks will be provided too of course!

BABY DEDICATIONS

On November 15th, we will be having child dedications!Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church and your family. The dedication provides the parents with an opportunity to express publicly their desire to lead and spiritually grow their children in a manner worthy of the gospel.We’d love to have you and your family involved in this!
